How people fond of cakes? Cake is a type of sweet food made up of ingredients like flour, sugar, egg and so on. Each and every one loves cake. Delicious pastry grabs everyone’s attention easily. Pastry plays a crucial role in the occasions of wedding, birthday parties, Christmas, New Year etc. When I was a kid, my dad bought cakes everyday to make me surprise. My love for cake is an everlasting one. Moreover Desserts are most popular among the food. Here I am going to share some of the points about cake. For the most important in weddings occasions, cake cutting ceremony is most important one. Wedding cakes are unique with certain designs. During Christmas times people were exchanging cakes to express their joy and love. A decorated cake grabs the attention of the customers.  While the creamy cakes are feast to both eyes and tongue too. Pineapple cake is the most expensive cake in India. Cake decoration has a huge part in beauty of cake. Cake is not a baked food it is above that. Taste of the fresh cream cakes is inexpiable. Cake is decorated using the icing, frosting, and some decorating elements. Creamy pastry is molded and sculpted for some special occasions.

History of cake

In ancient days, cakes were totally different from our present day’s cake. Those were bread like and sweetened with honey and decorated by nuts and fruit. According to food historians, Egyptians were showed their skills on the baking. In the mid 17th century, Europeans baked their first modern cakes which were round ones with icing. The Cassell’s New universal Cookery Book contains the recipe of modern cakes in London in 1894. In the early 20^th century traditional olden cakes gets replaced by the modern cakes. Those cakes are sweetened by icing white sugar. In India, first cake was made by Mambally Babu in  his Royal Biscuit Factory in November 1883.India’s first Christmas cake was made by him.

There are many different types of cakes. Desserts are most loved by people around the world. It get more attractive when it is decorated by certain flavors. There are so many flavors are there. Some of them are I am going to point out here as follows

Cake is one of the most fabulous desserts with huge varieties of delicious flavour combinations. People love for cake never ends. Celebrations are incomplete without cake. Our special occasions get more and more special with the help of inexplicable creamy cakes. Desserts are kind of stress buster, when we were feel depressed intake of cakes makes you feel better. While cake is sweetened, it looks delightful. Some of the people give priority to the food. Love for food is constant one. Especially, fond of cake is unexplainable. A cake takes the most important place in Christmas festival. Day by day the flavors of cake get changed. We get new and new flavors of cakes. Some of flavors are mentioned here. They are as follows, vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, blackberry, blueberry, butterscotch, blackcurrant, red velvet, banana cake, lemon, apple, raspberry etc. Plum cakes are especially welcomed in the times of Christmas. There is no doubt people love for cake get raise day by day. Desserts may be varying by their names and flavors but it is united by the taste.

 Now a days people can bake their cakes in home itself. They can learn the cooking tips through you tube and they execute it in their daily life. At present days, they can bake their cakes without oven. They use pressure pan instead of ovens. Homemade cakes are budget friendly too.
